that I gnoring the fact that there will always be people who want to downplay other people's achievements by labeling them as'no-lifers' and'nerds', it is an interesting question, as it requires considerably more time and effort to achieve the same goal at a skill as a pure player compared to some member, unless an unfair comparism is made. However, there's a widely used arguement that for skills that make use of OSRS gold money more prominently (such as cooking or firemaking), members also spend some time earning the money required to buy the raw materials to get power-leveling that ability, which ends the conversation into a"Members make money quicker thus they spend less time (assuming that time is somewhat equivalent to cash ) compared to some pf2p who earns cash slower. This can get a bit tricky, as mutiple varibles are included, so to clear somethings up, I will record the things each side has.

P2P-Earns money usually quicker. Green drags, various skills like slayer, and a bigger amount of cash to merch with grants them an edge over pf2ps. Has faster training methods avaliable to them. Burying big bones is peanuts compared to gilded altars. Thus capable to achieve a 99 in skills that make use of money more than other abilities.

PF2P-Earns money slower, the fastest way (short of merching), would most likely be mining rune stones, which is pretty slow and insecure, or chopping stuff (be it yews or cockroach soldiers). On a hourly basis, a PF2P would earn less doing the fastest money making process compared to some P2P that also does the fastest money making method. Generally has slower training methods avaliable. I use the term generally since some members do train in f2p locations such as SoS Red lions or Cockroach soldiers, which reduces their speed but sets them at the exact same level as pf2ps. However, on the whole, there is a reason people close to a 99 head directly for associates, as it enables them to get experience at a higher rate compared to being a free participant. Given that each of the varibles are exactly the same, it's anticipated that a pf2p would find a 99 at a significantly slower speed than a member.

However, to generalize the skills as being exactly the exact same would be unfair. A member who trains scope would have the ability to achieve a 99 much quicker, as he has more options avaliable to him for leveling fast, but in training mining, he would have a far smaller advantage above a pf2p before the higher levels, as irregardless of if a player is a part or not, he would have to cheap RuneScape gold compete with other people for ore rocks, at least until rune.
